Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Secure Tech Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, Islamabad, Pakistan ("we", "us"), covering the StudyLens AI application and its service. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

You need an account to use StudyLens AI. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account. What happens under your account is your responsibility.

You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13 in any case.

Your material stays yours

The documents, notes and links you add remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to process them — including sending their text to our AI provider — purely to produce the summaries, flashcards, quizzes and answers you have asked for. We do not use your material to train AI models, and we do not publish it or show it to other users.

Only add material you are allowed to. Do not upload something you have no right to copy, and do not upload other people's personal information.

What the AI produces

Summaries, flashcards, quiz questions and Flow answers are generated by a language model from the material you provided. They can be wrong or incomplete. They are a study aid, not a source of truth, and not academic, medical, legal or financial advice. Check anything that matters against the original.

Fair use of the service

Do not:

• use the service to break the law or someone else's rights;
• try to get into another person's account, or into our systems;
• work around the limits of your plan, or resell the service;
• upload malware, or material that is illegal where you are.

Plans and limits

There is a free plan with monthly limits — a number of AI generations, a number of stored materials, and a daily limit on Flow messages. The app tells you when you reach one. Paid plans raise those limits. The current limits for each plan are shown in the app.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are sold through Google Play, not by us directly. That means:

• you are charged by Google, using the payment method on your Google account;
• a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it;
• the price, the billing period and any trial are shown by Google before you confirm, and that is what you are agreeing to;
• you cancel through Google Play — Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions — not through us. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep the paid features until the period you have paid for ends;
• refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Ask us at [email protected] and we will help where we can, but the charge is Google's to reverse.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.

Price changes

We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price until the end of the paid period, and Google will tell you before a changed price is charged, as its rules require.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we must in order to comply with the law; except in serious cases we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something significant that you are paying for, you may cancel and we will help you get a pro-rata refund from Google where their rules allow it.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data where you have not kept your own copy, or for the consequences of relying on AI-generated study material. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. StudyLens AI is a study tool, not a backup service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and where a change matters we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
